I enjoy the intensity of this female vocal. Makes you feel like something matters here. The talking/singing has a desperate sound I like, in contrast to the screaming. And I know it is a surprise, but I am enjoying this male backing vocal. I think it works with this style. A rare thing for me to like a male and woman vocal together.

Music

I like how the music drops down to a very slow pace and then goes faster. I like the movement in this song! It kept my attention!

I am not sure if these lyrics are talking about someone who has acted like they are the ruler of all - this person has hurt and crushed the person in this song, and now trust and respect is lost - or, if this is based on a God that has made a person suffer, but he/she has decided that this God won't be embraced. Either way, there is a resistance to being wounded by this person or God.
