This vocal reminds me of vocals I have heard in other styles of music, but I like how it works in this style.

Music

I like the keyboard, and the pace. The song feel like it is shorter than it is. Nothing wrong with that - I prefer that to dragging on.

Lyrics

I feel like these lyrics are talking about a void, almost like it is the absence of past generations that have fallen. That they are watching over you now, and you are following in some of their steps.

I often think of my great grandmother who walked in the same forest I walk now. I often think of how things have changed. I never met her, but we are connected by the places we have been.

It felt so real, so true
